- Sustainability certification and impact assessment
- ISCC PLUS and benefits for non-regulated markets
In the first session the speakers will address the latest issues in EU policy and regulatory frameworks. The implementation of the GHG quota in Germany will be discussed by representatives of the German Federal Ministry of Environment and Total. Implications for credible GHG certification will be addressed as well.
The second session focuses on the impacts of sustainability certification. Case studies from Brazil (ADM) and Malaysia (Genting) will be presented. In addition, a new tool from the International Trade Centre to compare different certification schemes will be presented. The German Aerospace Center will elaborate on the use of remote sensing data for land use change verification.
The third session covers ISCC PLUS and the benefits of sustainability certification for the food, feed and chemical industry.
