20 Soy Schemes Pass the Independent Benchmarking Process Against FEFAC Soy Sourcing Guidelines 2021
In 2021, the International Trade Center (ITC) initiated a benchmark exercise for sustainability certification schemes like ISCC for sustainable soy production complying with the FEFAC Soy Sourcing Guidelines 2021. These guidelines cover different thematic issues such as Environment and Climate Change, Credibility, Human and Labour Rights and, Due Diligence among others. In addition to meeting the essential criteria of the FEFAC guidelines, ISCC met the minimum or more of the desired criteria of the guidelines.
ISCC EU and ISCC PLUS are Recognised as Compliant with
- FEFAC Essential and at least eight desired criteria
- FEFAC verification criteria
- FEFAC non-conversion criteria
- FEFAC carbon footprint data criterion
