A significant portion of the discussion focused on legislative developments in Japan, highlighting the evolving regulatory landscape in the country. Furthermore, the meeting covered the UK Plastic Packaging Tax and its implications on chemical recycling, providing insights into how these regulatory measures might shape the industry. The integration of the Mass Balance Approach into sustainability goals within the ISCC PLUS framework was another crucial aspect discussed, emphasizing the importance of aligning environmental objectives with certification processes. Lastly, the meeting addressed ISCC’s partnership with Amazon’s CPF (Climate Pledge Friendly) Program, exploring the collaborative efforts between the two entities in promoting sustainable practices.
