ISCC Certification Schemes

ISCC is a sustainability certification system for all feedstocks and markets. Depending on the market you would like to supply your sustainable material to, a certain certification system has to be chosen. The  ISCC EU, ISCC CORSIA (PLUS) and ISCC PLUS certification systems are largely harmonised. With only one audit, three certificates can be issued to supply all markets!

ISCC EU

is recognised by the European Commission to demonstrate compliance with the sustainability criteria for biofuels and bioliquids set out in the Renewable Energy Directive (RED II) and by the United Kingdom under the renewable fuel obligation

ISCC PLUS

is a voluntary sustainability certification for plastics and chemicals, food and feed markets, as well as biofuels outside the European Union and the UK.

ISCC CORSIA

is recognised by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) for the certification of CORSIA-eligible sustainable aviation fuels.

ISCC Solid Biomass NL

is recognised by the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy and can be used to comply with the dutch legal sustainability requirements for solid biomass for energy applications SDE+.

ISCC Japan FIT

is a system of incentives for the production of renewable electricity in Japan which includes subsidies for the procurement of palm kernel shells and palm trunks.

ISCC Carbon Footprint Certification

enables the certification of product carbon footprints for various products and value chains.
