2nd Technical Stakeholder Meeting
27 October 2022, Virtual Meeting
The second ISCC Technical Stakeholder Committee – Sustainable Aviation Fuels was attended by around 230 stakeholders who heard interesting presentations on the latest developments in the industry. Also of great value was the hour-long panel discussion with representatives from ISCC, IATA, SENASA and Neste, moderated by Gernot Klepper, Chairman of the ISCC Association Board, discussing issues related to mandates, incentives, feedstocks, double counting, competition between different markets, digitalization and much more. Thank you for participating and making this event a great success!

1st Technical Stakeholder Meeting – Sustainable Aviation Fuels
18 November 2021, Virtual Meeting
More than 150 participants joined the inception of the Technical Stakeholder Committee – Sustainable Aviation Fuels. The discussed topics covered the latest updates in the dynamically evolving policy framework around SAF such as CORSIA, the ReFuel EU Aviation proposal and the dedicated sub mandate for power-to-liquid SAF, written into law by the German Government. Insights on how to scale up the SAF supply while sticking to the recently announced net-zero by 2050 target by the International Air Transport Association (IATA) were given by certain market participants (airline and large SAF producer). ISCC shed light on the importance of sustainability certification to ensure the very much-needed SAF ramp-up follows stringent sustainability standards. The Technical Stakeholder Committee will now start its work under the two newly elected Co-Chairs Karen O’Brien (Gevo Inc., US) and Robert Boyd (IATA, Switzerland).
