Integrity

The integrity of our certification system is fundamental to our work. In dynamic markets and evolving regulatory environments, trust in certification depends on transparency, robust controls, and continuous improvement. Through our Integrity Programme, we ensure the quality, credibility, and reliability of ISCC certification.

What the Integrity Programme Does

Audit Quality Monitoring

We continuously monitor audit quality and system application to ensure certification is carried out in line with ISCC requirements across all markets and supply chains.

Risk Identification

Using a risk-based approach, we identify potential non-conformities and emerging risks related to materials, supply chains, and geographical regions.

Integrity Assessments

In addition to regular certification audits, we conduct risk-based and random integrity assessments. These may be desk-based or onsite, announced or unannounced, depending on the risk profile.

Investigation and Improvement

We investigate whistleblower reports and complaints and translate lessons learned into concrete system improvements, helping to prevent misuse and safeguard the credibility of ISCC certification.

How the Process Works

An Integrity Assessment (IA) follows a structured process, from case selection to reporting and, where necessary, sanctions.

For further details on the process, please refer to ISCC System Document 102 “Governance” and ISCC Guidance Document “Non-conformities and Sanctions of System Users and CBs”.

Complain or Report Non-Conformities

Potential cases are identified through a combination of internal monitoring, market analysis, random selection, and external input such as complaints and whistleblower reports.
