Partnerships

We actively contribute to sustainability initiatives by engaging in organisations worldwide. Through these partnerships and memberships, we support collaborative action, share expertise and help advance credible sustainability practices across sectors and supply chains.

aireg – Aviation Initiative for Renewable Energy in Germany

We are a member of aireg, the aviation initiative for renewable energy in Germany. Aireg provides a platform for aviation industry stakeholders committed to increasing the production and use of Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAF).

Forum for Sustainable Palm Oil (FONAP)

As a member of the Forum for Sustainable Palm Oil (FONAP), which strives to improve social, economic, and environmental conditions in producing countries, we commit to increasing the volume of certified palm oil, palm kernel oil, and their derivatives in the German, Austrian, and Swiss markets.

Sustainability Assurance & Innovation Alliance (SUSTAIN)

We are an associate member of SUSTAIN, a palm oil alliance that uses integrated collaborative blockchain technology to improve traceability and accelerate the implementation of No Deforestation, No Peat and No Exploitation (NDPE) policies. In addition, the initiative aims to work towards greater smallholder inclusion in sustainable palm oil supply chains.

Tropical Forest Alliance (TFA)

As a partner of the Tropical Forest Alliance (TFA), a multi-stakeholder platform, we take voluntary actions to reduce and ultimately halt tropical deforestation associated with the sourcing of commodities such as palm oil, soy, beef, paper, and pulp.

Food for Biodiversity

We are a member of Food for Biodiversity, which works to protect biodiversity within the food sector. It is an initiative by companies, associations, and standard-setting bodies to integrate biodiversity criteria across the supply chain, educate buyers, raise consumer awareness, and influence policy frameworks that support biodiversity.

Sustainable Wheat Initiative Europe

We are a supportive stakeholder of the Sustainable Wheat Initiative, which targets a 30% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions in wheat supply chains by 2030. As a signatory to the manifesto, we support the initiative’s objectives via our certification, which encourages transparency, sustainability, and climate-friendly practices across the agricultural supply chain.

United Nations Global Compact

Since 2016, we have participated in the United Nations (UN) Global Compact, a non-binding UN pact of approximately 10,000 companies worldwide. It aims to mobilise a global movement of sustainable companies and supports businesses by aligning their strategies and operations with ten principles on human rights, labour, the environment, and anti-corruption.
