Traceability and Chain of Custody

Increasing traceability along supply chains contributes to consumer trust and to sustained demand for ISCC certified products. The term traceability describes the ability to identify and trace the origin, distribution, location and application of products and materials throughout supply chains. Since all entities handling sustainable material must be covered by certification, ISCC allows full traceability.

Chain of Custody Options

Based on customer requirements, ISCC offers three different chain of custody approaches to trace material back to its origin, all suitable for making strong claims towards consumers.
