We have exciting news: The ISCC Association Board has decided to establish two new Regional Stakeholder Committees (RSCs) – Oceania and China. With this expansion, we are strengthening our global network of dialogue and collaboration with stakeholders across fast-developing markets.

About our Regional Stakeholder Committees

RSCs offer a platform for stakeholders to discuss certification developments, market dynamics, and regulatory trends. They bring together experts from across our community to help shape and strengthen the region, our overall system and certification schemes. Each committee meets regularly and welcomes all interested stakeholders from industry, the non-profit sector, research, authorities, and the public. The first meetings of the RSCs for Oceania and China will be announced soon.

RSC China

China is a rapidly growing market, demonstrating significant interest, particularly in ISCC training courses and events. Past sessions have seen high participation, and we expect this trend to continue in future formats. In this spirit, we also invite you to explore the upcoming ISCC PLUS and SAF Conference – Sustainability Certification in China, along with the accompanying PLUS and CORSIA training courses in Shanghai. The new committee aims to facilitate knowledge sharing and enhance cooperation with local stakeholders.

RSC Oceania

Oceania is an expanding market, particularly in the areas of ISCC PLUS and sustainable aviation fuels (SAF). With a proactive group of stakeholders – many of whom are growers – the region has demonstrated notable involvement in sustainability certification solutions. The committee will serve as a platform, supporting open dialogue with regional authorities and enabling stakeholders to stay informed about regulatory changes that influence the market.

Structural Update: One Committee Dissolved

Alongside this expansion, the ISCC Association Board has also decided to dissolve the ISCC Technical Stakeholder Committee – Waste, Residues and Advanced Low Carbon Fuels, which last met in 2021 and has been inactive since. More information on this former committee can be found here.
