ISCC has contributed as speaker during a Webinar covering the topic of Enabling Circular Economy Initiatives in North America to Match State and Federal Regulatory Compliance.
The points that have been discussed amongst others were the implications of using recycled and recyclable materials in product design and development, outlining the requirements of the end user for recycled goods and making sure products can be traced back to source and learning how to best logistically organize recycled product as well as determining the value of non-virgin materials

22 September 2022, Circular Nonwovens Forum
The Circular Nonwovens Forum will take place as a hybrid event in Brussels, Belgium. The forum focuses on challenges and opportunities in the pursuit of a circular economy for nonwovens.
ISCC will contribute as a speaker and present the Credible Sustainability Certification of Nonwovens, giving input on risk assessment and monitoring of deforestation-free global supply chains and step by step traceability requirements and product carbon footprint calculations.
13 September 2022, International Palm Oil Sustainability Conference 2022
The 7th International Palm Oil Sustainability Conference 2022 (IPOSC 2022) will be held on 13 September 2022 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It is organized by the Malaysian Palm Oil Council (MPOC) every two years and is aimed at stakeholders in the Malaysian palm oil industry involved in the sustainability debate. This year, the event will be held locally for the first time since the pandemic. ISCC´s Managing Director Andreas Feige will hold a presentation on the topic of Opportunities in EU´s Low-ILUC Risk Fuel Voluntary Certification Scheme.
28 – 29 June 2022, Sustainable Polyolefins, Markets & Innovations
CMT’s Sustainable Polyolefins, Markets & Innovations Hybrid conference on 28-29 June 2022 in Brussels, Belgium brings together players in the polyolefins value chain to share insights on the development and trends moving forward.

31 May 2022, Meeting with U.S. Pact Activators
The meeting with U.S. Pact Activators aims to educate Activators on the key issues of PCR certification, so they can help craft and ultimately adopt an official U.S. Pact position on PCR. One of deliverables of the U.S. Pact is researching existing and emerging standards and taking a position with respect to how the Pact will further the use of post-consumer recycled content and responsibly sourced, biobased content.

25 – 26 May 2022, Future of Surfactants Summit
The 6th Future of Surfactants Summit took place as a physical event in Barcelona, Spain. It brought together experts of the surfactants industry for two days of presentations, panel discussions and networking opportunities.

18 – 20 May 2022, Tire Technology Expo Conference
The Tire Technology Expo in its 22nd year is the most important tire manufacturing technology exhibition and conference in Europe. The Tire Technology Expo 2022 offered the world’s premier technology showcase with exhibits and materials covering the complete spectrum of the tire manufacturing process.
ISCC contributed as speaker and presented the establishment of ISCC for synthetic and natural rubber in the tire industry.
17-19 May 2022, IATA Aviation Energy Forum
The IATA Aviation Energy Forum (AEF) brings together the World’s Aviation Fuel Community to discuss on key topics that contribute to the 2050 net zero target. It took place on 17-19 May 2022 in Munich, Germany at the Westin Grand Munich hotel.
ISCC took part in the panel discussion on “Tracking the path to net zero – how do we get there?”, giving input on how sustainability certification can help the aviation industry to deliver on its net-zero commitment.
12 May 2022, 9. Polymer Forum
The 9th Polymer Forum took place as a physical event in Aschaffenburg, Germany. High-profile speakers from the industry, development and research branches were addressing a broad variety of interesting and relevant topics regarding the future with e-mobility, the circular economy influences as well as trends for the plastics industry.

09 - 10 May 2022, European Polymers Conference
The European Polymers Conference took place as a hybrid event in Vienna, Austria. With its focus on sustainability and circularity, the European Polymers Conference brings together the PET Value Chain, World Polyolefins, and European Recycling.
ISCC contributed as a speaker and provided input on how certification supports the way towards a Circular Economy and Bioeconomy.
24 March 2022, Incorporating Recycled Content in Plastics Packaging
The online seminar “Incorporating Recycled Content in Plastics Packaging” provided input on certification approaches, verification and measurements as well as current challenges and the view of the government.

During the CMT’s 2nd Circular Polyolefins Outlook virtual conference on 16 March 2022 at 15:30 SGT (GMT+8) players in the polyolefins value chain shared insights on the development and trends moving forward.

8 March 2022, Webinar aireg & DWV – e-Kerosene: Sustainable Coverage of Import Demand
The webinar hosted by aireg and DWV on e-Kerosene: Sustainable Coverage of Import Demand took place online at 6:00 pm CET (in German language) and covered the topics all around future freedom and mobility as well as preserving those achievements.
The use of Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAF) based on the entire range of available raw materials can contribute significantly to this challenge. However, SAF are currently only available in limited quantities and not across the board. How can future demand be met and compliance with sustainability requirements in manufacturing and also along global supply chains be ensured?

Data Monitoring within the Plastic Value Chain
In this workshop is aiming to set up a clear image of why a future-proof data monitoring system is needed by sharing and discussing information from different perspectives. This image is needed to take the next steps, where the scope for a potential project in a new consortium is being collaboratively defined.
ISCC participated as speaker and shared the expertise on the role of certification and how it is applied within circular plastics.

9 – 11 November 2021, Argus Biofuels and Asia Markets
The Argus Biofuels Europe and Asia Markets gives up-to-date insights and coverage of two essential markets to the global Biofuels industry. During the conference the key challenges and opportunities were explored. The agenda consists of topics such as the European For for 55 and all its implications, the role of biofuels in the energy transition, the future of feedstocks and their availability, as well as exploring developments in the market for SAF in both Europe and Asia and future fuels.

4 – 5 November 2021, VILF Annual Meeting 2021
The first hybrid event in Neu-Isenburg with more than 200 participants and over 60 people on screen had a great atmosphere and was a platform to exchange ideas. The conference was thematically characterised by sustainability and digitalisation.

Since its inception in 2007, ICOPE (International Conference on Oil Palm and the Environment), has established itself as a unique platform where all stakeholders i.e. planters, NGOs, government officers, researchers and academics, finance officers, gather together to review their roles in the transformation of the palm oil industry towards environment friendly production and consumption of palm oil.
