Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,

Due to the Coronavirus spreading around the world, more and more countries, system users, and certification bodies are implementing travel restrictions to slow down the spread of the virus. To ensure that all ISCC system users can remain certified without a gap in their certification period, ISCC has decided that a re-certification shall be possible based on a remote audit if there is a justified and documented reason. Justified reasons include company policies, travel or access restrictions to certain areas and countries, etc. This exception can be applied on a worldwide basis. It also applies if an ISCC certified system user intends to adjust the scope of its certification.

This temporary exception applies until further notice by ISCC. As soon as the situation allows to conduct on-site audits again, certification bodies are obliged to additionally conduct the respective on-site audits within a transitional period of three months.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact ISCC.
