About the Regional Stakeholder Committee
ISCC is dedicated to fostering sustainability in Latin America, a region rich in biodiversity and natural resources. The Latin American Stakeholder Committee works collaboratively to address the unique challenges and opportunities in this area. Join us in our efforts to promote responsible practices, protect ecosystems, and drive Latin America’s circular economy and bioeconomy agenda.

16th Regional Stakeholder Meeting – Latin America

The 16th ISCC Regional Stakeholder Meeting – Latin Americ a is over and was a great success. The meeting was held live online and gathered more than 100 participants who joined us for valuable discussions and learning opportunities.
With 14 presentations delivered by sustainability experts, the meeting featured three main blocks essential for the Latin America market: updates on the latest developments in the regulatory market and EU regulations , developments of ISCC PLUS , and a deep dive into human rights and environmental due diligence .
Ending on a high note, the meeting was concluded with the Co-Chair election. Congratulations to Alonso Martínez Avalos for being elected to the role; we wish you the best of luck and look forward to many more fruitful collaborations.

The 15th ISCC Regional Stakeholder Meeting – Latin America took place as a hybrid meeting in Bogotá with 47 people onsite and more than 120 online participants. Many thanks to Alejandra Rueda, Chair of the Committee, for an excellent moderation and the organization onsite! Congratulations on the reelection as Chair of Committee!
We heard about important topics such as EU Regulation and ISCC Update , upcoming legal and due diligence requirements , ISCC PLUS Development for the Circular Economy & Bioeconomy, benefits of regenerative agriculture , and generating carbon credits in Latin America.
One of the most exciting moments during our ISCC Regional Stakeholder Meeting in Latin America was the ceremony around our First ISCC FSS Add-On Certificate ! Issued for GREMCA SA , who becomes the first company certified with the FSS Add-On in Colombia and Worldwide!
